Don’t people with faith realize?

They look rather stupid attacking others faiths not aligned with theirs, because it’s silly and full of nonsense meanwhile getting all mad when some one attacks theirs.

-(You really do more harm to your faith in others eyes then the one attacking it.)-

Update:

Didn't mean to sound like I was lumping every one togther! Only talking about the guilty ones.

Yes, they are just proving that their faith is one of intolerance and not the one that others should be following.

I agree with you. It's sorta like this....Say we are all going to Dallas from where ever we are. We all get into our cars (Cadillac, Volvo, Lexus, old broken down jalopy, Saturn; whatever car you have to get ya there; doesn't matter. Hay, some people may even take a plane or train). No matter what vehicle we choose, we are all going to Dallas. We will take different highways with twists and turns and bumpy roads with a few detours and have completely different experiences along the way. Some will have an easy ride and some may have to get help along the way. Sorry to say a VERY FEW may not make it. Never the less! We are all going to Dallas in our own way and will make it somehow. That's how religion is. We are all right and it doesn't matter how we get there as long as we get there. God loves variety and gives us so many choices so that we can find the right vehicle(faith) met for our own needs and style. He wants us to be happy and gives us what we need and ask for. By disrespecting other people's faith I am disrespecting God and I don't wanna do that. He made all the people who are oh so very different than me, each in there own unique way and He loves them just like He loves me...equally! I don't care when people make jokes and rude comments about me or my Catholic Church. I would still feed, cloth, help them in some way, if they needed it from me.

But, on the other hand, most unsaved people, when tactfully and kindly confronted with the saving gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, claim they are being attacked when they are not being attacked, simply informed.

Pro 15:12 A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Hope you make the right decision, my friend.

I Peter 3:15 tells Christians to "Be prepared to give an account of the hope that is in you. And do this with gentleness and meekness."

While I am not ashamed of my faith I know that if I want to present Jesus Christ as the One Who loved the world so much that He was willing to die for them I better do it with the same love that he has for them, don't you think?

The part that gets me angry or irritated is when someone isn't willing to extend to me the same courteous that they demand in respect to their beliefs. For example, don't tell me that I have no right to shove my religion down "your" throat and then make me sit in a science class being force fed the humanistic (religious) hypothesis of evolution.

People use all kinds of "religions" to force their beliefs on others including agnosticism and atheism. Christianity and Islam do not have a corner on this market. There is plenty to go around.

They aren't attacking them as much as trying to convince them that they are stupid and should join their religion. They can't exist on this Earth knowing that another religion besides their own exists.

not all people with faith do that...my faith is very strong, but I respect that everyone has faith of their own, and it's not my place to tell them differently..you're lumping everyone with faith into one category, and it's unfair as well as being totally false.

We see this more often then not. It's sad. This entire category is slowly becoming a hazard to those who are earnestly seeking truth. Satan has done is job and people are listening to him. How sad.

The stronger our faith, the lesser we judge. Our faith does not allow us to judge. Judgment belongs to Him to whom we put our faith.

Why to point finger on others, lets see how much mud is there in our own finger before we point it on others.

It depends on how they approach the other person. If it's just telling them they beleive something different its ok.
