I think that would be considered discrimination. Talk to a lawyer.

I work in a nursing home, and that is not heard of. Most nursing homes have a Dietitian on staff to help the residents with these issues. It is not ethical, and very prejudice to ask someone to leave over this. I would think that it is illegal. All the best to you, and God Bless

Well its wrong. U can sue them. For weight reducing do lots of workout and eventually u will get so strong that u will kich the person out who r trying to kick u now. so good luck!

In America, your physical appearance and monetary worth is more than your goodness or humanity. It's not right and it's not very Christian... but it's the truth.

If you are obese, that will be held against you too. We are a very shallow society.

No, they can't that discrimination, and it's illegal in every state in the US. I suggest you change nursing homes, because no-one deserves to be discriminated against, it only causes more problems. They aren't worth your patronage, and not worth putting up with.

No it's not legal, I would ask them for a copy of their rules and if you don't see anything about weight in there ask for something in writing as to why they want you to leave.

If you are so large they cant move you in bed or you cant help them move you....................if you are a danger to the employee's because of your weight and they could get hurt moving you..............................maybe they can move you to a place that can take care of you in a more efficient way
