Does the moon still rule the night sky?

I understand that it's the brightest thing in the sky at night, I'm asking allegoricly. Is it worthy of worship? Doesn't the Bible forbid this?

The brightness from the moon is the reflection from the sun, the moon itself doesn't emit any light. It appears bright because it is close to us, if the stars we see at night were as close as the moon they'd be so bright we'd all be blind, not that it would matter as we'd all be incinerated as well.

I don't really think it's worthy of worship, it's nothing more than a large rock floating around in space - a bit like out own large rock.

And the Bible does forbid the worship of anything other than God Himself.

It is the most dominant thing in the night sky when it is actually visible at night. The term "rule the night sky" would be appropriate.

Worthy of worship? No. Never was, isn't and never will be BECAUSE the Bible forbids it.

The Bible does forbid worshiping it--however, the book is full of so many conflicting views it practically argues with itself.

Worship the moon? No. Worship what she represents (i.e. the Lady) oh, that's up to you and Her.

Yes she does. The Moon is the symbol for Feminine divinity. There are three phases of the moon and three phases of the Goddess.

Who cares if the Bible forbids it. do you actually think that quagmire of a book is right all the time. Of course not, do what's in your heart. The Power of the Moon is strong and alluring.

the neopagan section of the book i read this weekend spoke of the ancient pagan women who figured . . . every month the moon changes . . and every month i bleed

    moon became goddess

i find it interesting . . . . that the female god concept is rejected by traditional judeo christianity, the correlation in history between how a religion treats female, and how the people of the religion treat female,

in the ancient pagan the female would lead the tribe, why not, moon god and such,

and in islam, where allah is male and prophet muhummad is male, and a women is to be beated if the husband SUSPECTS disobediance

maybe its not to worship the moon this night my friend,

    but worship of wife

The moon i what God created to light the night sky. We are not to worship.

Exd 20:2 I [am] the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Exd 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

In the Bible it says the moon is a light. That's funny. I guess we are smarter than God because we know the moon is nothing more than a mirror.
