5 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoWhy did Jesus call the people 'a den of theives'?
He was pretty angry! Was he just spouting off, or was there a parable here?
21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoCan a witch have faith, or grace?
I've had a conversation with a witch! And it seems these words are more than a little ambigous.
26 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoDo some people confuse Evolution with Serendipity?
Serendipity was a popular word forty years ago. It means people, places and things coming together in a good way. A 'happening'. The attitude I get from advocates of evolution is, 'Isn't it fortunate, the we humans found our way to the top of the food chain...aren't we glorious...?'
Wake up, that environment will eat you. I wasn't good luck that put you were you are, it was God...
Since this is a question, "Do you feel lucky?"
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoWhere do Fundamentalists learn to read? In a remedial class?
It is getting very difficult, for a Christian to ask for simple answers to simple questions, without people digressing far away from the topic. I have read the Bible several times, I have one in front of me, I am a Christian. Just to illustrate this, what is the question I'm asking?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoWhy do Christians speak of the Resurrection, and Jesus, as two different things?
Christ says he is the ressurection. He is the door. To get to heaven, you have to go through the door don't you? Doesn't that mean you have to die (physically), to get to Jesus (the ressurection)? So why do you all go on and on about Jesus coming to save the world, when you have to be dead, and gone, and in heaven to see him?
I can understand that if you were to fall down, as if dead (like John did on Patmos), and Jesus revived you, then you could see Jesus, and the end of the world and all of that. But I don't hear that from Christians, not at all...
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades ago"In the beginning, was the Word." Was that word ressurection?
I have heard many explanations, but none really seem to make sense. Does it make sense to anybody, that the Ressurection was always there, with God, and is a person to be worshipped? It is at the end of the Bible that it says "I am the Word", So I don't think there can be many Apostles commenting on this topic.
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoIf there was a topic for atheism at this site, what would they discuss?
I mean without bringing up religions, that they don't believe in. Or Souls, that they deny. Or love that they can't quantify. Or sin, that they've never seen, or done.
19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoWhen you quote scripture, should you omit reference numbers?
I don't think they were meant for conversation. And they are usless to someone who doesn't read the Bible.
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoDid God sacrifice his son, Jesus. Or did Jesus sacrifice himself?
Some say it was the Romans, and that would make it a pagan ritual. Some say it was the Jews, and that would be an abomination. Some say it was suicide, and that would be unforgivable. What say you?
23 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoPay the descendents of slaves?
Freedom is the first instalment. Civil rights legislation is another.
To the black citizens, and their children, who immegrated after the civil war (Sidney Poitier, etc.); the same.

5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoIs it a sin, to teach children right and wrong?
Shouldn't this be left up to God, and Satan? I realize we have to equip our children, to live in the world. But do we have to teach them to be judgemental?
23 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoWhich came first, the sun, or daylight?
bruce says; Perhaps the bible enthusiasts could explain how if God allegedly made the world in 6 days, the concept of a day could exist if there was no Sun on Day One?
Before you answer, check your Bible. It says that the daylight, was created before the sun.
This tells me that the creation story in Genisis, cannot be taken literally, unless you believe 'the light', is not daylight, thus 'the light', cannot be taken literally. Either way, the story is allegorical.
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoDoes the moon still rule the night sky?
I understand that it's the brightest thing in the sky at night, I'm asking allegoricly. Is it worthy of worship? Doesn't the Bible forbid this?
