Can a witch have faith, or grace?

I've had a conversation with a witch! And it seems these words are more than a little ambigous.

Well, first of all, I'd like to thank you for telling everybody you talked to me. How nice that I can tell my side. On with the question. I do have grace. The word grace, in the religious sense, means to have divine love and protection bestowed freely upon people, which my Lord and Lady do. Grace is not solely belonging to Christians and Christians alone. As with faith, I have faith in my Lord and Lady. I'll tell you something about my faith in them. One night, I was having trouble sleeping, my mind was very troubled. I called out to Mother to still my mind, and instantly it was calmed and I fell asleep. I have faith in them, meaning I trust them, and I hold the belief that they exist. Yes, I am Wiccan, yes I am a witch, but my faith and the grace I have from my Lord and Lady, is not any different than the grace and faith you have in your god. Just because I don't worship your god, doesn't mean it's less sincere.

You can have Faith in whatever you desire to put it in. a lot of people put faith in a beer can.

Grace? There is but ONE Grace. That Grace comes from none other than Jehovah God Himself, Through Jesus Christ.

A Profound "Witch", has no more Grace from God, than the coffee cup I'm drinking out of. She fell from God's Grace, and there is only one way she will get it back.

Good Luck. BTW. Why would you even be around a profound witch? You are aware of what could happen? right?

    Witches, witches, witches, oh dear!

Speaking purely as an atheist, I think faith, even in atheists is possible, if you take the word to mean belief in something which has yet to be proved.

Grace is a thing which people have died and killed trying to prove. It seems to come down to whether you think that Grace can be earned, by prayers, good works etc., or whether you think Grace is God given.

I suppose someone who calls themselves a witch would automatically qualify as someone who has faith (not necessarily Xian faith of course), but can pagan gods give grace? Well again I suppose that is a matter of faith or belief too.

But in this pick-and-mix age, of mere superstition, like they say in Alice in Wonderland, "I can believe three impossible things before breakfast." and "anything I say three times is true."

By the way, did she/he bother to tell you that the Goddess has a triple aspect in their belief and the third aspect of the Godess, which relates to Hecate and Shape shifters has a VERY nasty way of dealing with men? It's not all good news you know, even in hippy trippy worlds.

    Best of luck.

Well, there are witches in all religions. No one religion claims all the witches. Of course witches have faith, you have to have faith that your spells will work, or you're not a very good witch. A good witch works to have grace, as grace can be bewitching. If you make witchcraft your lifestyle, you should try to be the whole package.

Witches (Wiccans) do have faith. They can even be Christian. It is not necessarily a conflict of interests. As Christians they can also have grace. The words are not ambiguous to true Wiccans. They have a very deep meaning, and Wiccans take these things very seriously.

Lots of both. Wiccan beliefs became about way before BC. Of course there are the dark cults that would deffinately not have faith or grace. Those who work through the love and light of the universe have plenty of faith and grace.

Of course most witches these days practice white magic and call upon the angels for guidance which they would'nt do if they did'nt have faith or grace, and they also have the help of mother nature. Wicca is getting more and more popular these days and I don't think theres many who practice black magic anymore.

Of course she can have faith. Even the demons believe and tremble. But, a witch can not trust in Christ and recieve salvation at the same time. They are engaging in things that are called an abomination to God.

Rom 2:4 Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?"

God has presented us with a plan for salvation which includes the confession of Christ as Lord. (Rom 10:9-10) To think that we can bypass that plan is foolishness. Rom 2 makes it clear that God in His loving kindness does not just forgive everything automatically, but in His kindness He leads us to repent and then grants us forgiveness and salvation by His grace. Give up your sin then ask for forgiveness.

Can't, Witch can't have either faith ro grace. Only she can be blessed once she regret what was doing and submit to Creator of Universe, Allah with sincere repent of what she/he doing it and promise not to return to it again and seek forgiveness from the LORD OF WHOLE WORLDS AND ENTIRE EXISTANCE - ALMIGHTY ALLAH
