Is it true that Joss Whedon is working on a Spike film? I still have Buffy withdrawl!?

Rumors about Buffy spin-off movies being in the works have persisted since the end of "Angel". While there has been significant interest in these projects, as far as I know, none of them have ever actually been done. And I don't know of any definitive plans for any in the future.

Yes it's true that they were *talking* about it. They also had plans for a Willow and a Faith movie- straight to DVD. Joss has been busy with Wonderwoman, and FOX refused to move in the same direction as him for the movies, so it was all scrapped. Sorry!!

I'd rather it not happen, then to have someone f*ck it up.

I also heard a rumour that there would be a Giles spin off called 'Ripper'. I have withdrawals too.
