Sexual morals in Europe?

I live in the Netherlands and it is much more in the open than it is in the USA. I think we are the most openminded country in the world if it comes to that. On tv you have a program in which they give advise and actual lessons in different forms of sex, also in BDSM. It is not done in a rancid way but in a kind of educational way.

For most people things like bondage are still weird, but it is not such of a taboo.

I am very happy to live here! There is a lot of respect for other peoples lifestyles, even if it is not the lifestyle we would choose. (As long as nobody gets hurt off course!)

We don't go wild if someone flashes a breast on tv like the Americans do. To be honest I think that reactions the American people had on for example Janet Jackson where pretty hysteric.

(You can see a lot of violence on tv but not a bare breast?!)

A good sexeducation prevents teen-pregnancies, venereal diseases and it learns people to play and enjoy their sexlife much more.

Also a good education about BDSM prevents people from hurting themselves.

Sex should be fun and very pleasant. There is nothing wrong with educating people on that area.

I wouldn't say that being open or not being open about BDSM has anything to say about sexual morals.

My experience with people in BDSM is that they explore more and push the limits, but they are not necessarily sexually 'looser' than regular (vanilla) people who have sex with a different partner from a bar every weekend.

I guess it will come down to how you define sexual morals- I don't think that enjoying being tied up or being paddled has anything to do with your morals.
