medical payment assistance, husband died no health no life ins, 20K to my name. mediaide? or what?
My husband and I own a Cafe, he died from a brain stroke at age 53, we paid the gas bill instead of the insurance. We are both 53 and healthy, never saw it coming, laughing and kidding around turned into a headache and then a massive brain stroke. The hospital bill is 26K plus three other bills so far over 2K. Im sure theres more to come. They are already demaning payment due TODAY he died on May 27th. Where can I turn for help?

the hospital should offer you a form. This is to apply for them to write this off and you don't pay. I think they call it a hardship application. not sure of your location. It is available to people who need it so do your best to get it.

Check with the hospital first...some have a sliding scale and u pay accordingly.
