Why does my internet freeze every time I try to get to Yahoo! chats?

Whenever I sign in to get to the chatrooms, I only get as far as it loading [with the blue/white bar] when the window freezes, and automatically closes out.

I have the most recent version of Flash, so it's not that.

If you could tell me how to fix it, too, that'd be wonderful.

[[ps;; please, no irrelevant answers - 'I don't know' doesn't help kthx]]

Update:

I am 18, and I don't have AOL or any parental blocks, so it's not that, either.

Update 2:

no camera, either.

[I'm just adding details as various answers come up, so don't think I'm just shooting someone down.]

i have that same problem when i try to enter yahoo games. it might be related to java or you may need to clear your temporary files. see if you can contact yahoo! customer support. they're available 24/7.

    1. Flash might be taking too much memory off your computer, if so you must have trouble going to other sites, or running other programs. you can fix it by getting more memory or closing unnecessary programs.

    2. If you also have too many pup ups a virus must be on your computer so you should scan your computer which I'm doing now.

Your computer might be crap, you might be too young to enter (have to be over 18), or your connection speed is too slow; thus, making your computer believe itself to be crap and work as such.
