What fault do you think will cause the downfall of YAHOO! ANSWERS?

possibly. I does seem that noone rates their own questions, and we are stuck doing it. Not to mention, after a while it gets old

If the questioner doesn't choose a best answer, the best answer will still be decided, by a vote. So there will still be 10 points given to an answerer. It'll just take much longer time to get the 10 points, that's all. What i think might cause the downfall of Y! Answers might be the perverts taking over this website and asking perverted questions on here *coughmale27kentucky,aka,male 26 virginia cough*

People will still take part if we can get rid of the pedophiles. If you really think they are, be careful report them to yahoo first. Then www.cybertipline.com copy paste save the answers and questions of that person with dates, the report might save a child from a really sick ******. Do not report unless have good reason you could have hard time if you where getting back at someone you don't like. There are no secrets on the web.

Before I close out each day I try to do the following: click on and vote discover resolved questions and vote decided questions. Helps make the system work

If nobody chooses best answer it gets voted for. It's not like the points don't get awarded to anyone.

As a matter of fact, I think it's better if the people as a whole choose the best answer.

The downfall of Yahoo Answers is more likely to be chatting instead of asking and answering. Another downfall might be some of the content that, regardless of reports, still shows up.

It seems like the dumbest questions get the most answers. It might not cause answers downfall but it will remove it from the realm of usefull information. It's another example of where the lowest common denominator is the most popular.

Perhaps choosing a Best Answer for each question should be a requirement for staying enrolled.

I think it will rock on for awhile. Not everyone cares about winning best answers. So people actually want help for problems. But if anything I think the kids will take over.
