How does one find out the cost of a single share in a company?

I've always focussed on macroeconomics, so I've got a newbie question. How can I find out how much a single share of a company is trading for?

go to yahoo finance. If you know the symbol for the company key it into the space where it says "get quotes". If you do not know the symbol, click on the words "symbol lookup". Unfortunately, you have to know how to spell the name of the company. After you find the symbol, key it in and there will be displayed the price of one share of stock. For example, Microsoft, MSFT, last trade $21.92; Bank America, BAC, $48.79
