Why do I loose points, instead of gain them on this thing?

i wondered the same thing but i realized when u ask a question u loose 5 points and when you answer one i think it is like 2 points and when you pick a best answerer for one of your questions that is 3 points.

You lose 5 points every time you ask a question. answering a question will give you 2 points. if your answer is chosen as the "best answer" you get 10 points.

Read and understand the rules. They tell you how to not only gain, but also how to loose points.

for asking questions you lose 5 points, you get 2 points for answering, and 1 for voting for the best answer.

answer more questions...you'll get more points. You've only answered 30 questions, that's 60 points, but you've asked 4 or 5 questions, that's minus 20-25 points. (-5 points per question).

You ask too many questions, and don't answer enough. You can gain some back by choosing a best answer on your questions too.

If you ask more questions than you answer/rate/vote, then you will lose points. Also, if you have posts deleted due to violations, then those cost points, too.
