    It's a weak attempt at trying to rival other Net phenomena such as myspace, facebook, youtube, etc.

    I would say the "father" of Yahoo Answers will be Ask Yahoo. So instead of waiting for Yahoo editors to answer questions, this is based on the theory that collective knowledge is better than individual knowledge.

    Ummm...no... Chatting isn't even allowed on Y! Answers. You can get violated for it. Plus, it goes from B.C. to A.D. Thank you for sharing that with us anyway.
