why do most grandpas wear speedos to the beach?

Because they can do anything they damn well please! They've earned it. They've lived long enough to become a Grandpa and it's about time they didn't have to think about pleasing anyone but themselves for a change.

I can't wait for the day I go to the beach in a pair of Grandpa speedo's and I don't care who I offend. How liberating.

I am not sure on what you're basing your your rather sweeping generalization but I can tell you, most grandpas don't wear speedos. I live on the beach in FL and most of the people in our building and those who just come to the beach for a day are older and only once have a seen an elderly man wearing speedos. My husband is a slim, trim man of 74 but he wouldn't be caught dead in a skimpy swim suit.

Actually, I'm not a grandpa but a lot of my friends are.

And all my life, to this day, when I see some old geezer wearing a speedo, I can only say one thing: YUCK!!!!!!

Fortunately, I don't have the big belly that usually goes along with old guys who wear speedos.

Years ago, I thought only European men wore those male-thongs...but it seems more and more American men have taken to wearing them.

It's one thing to see an over-weight chick in a thong, but it is a ghastly sight for an overweight dude to be squeezed into a small strip of fabric.

I don't know why the other old farts wear them, but I wear them to keep my wedding tackle close to my body...I don't want anything peeking out from under my pant leg when I'm out there!

Of course, you always need to accessorize...that's why I always wear suspenders with my speedo! They serve two purposes really: They hold the speedo up and they look damn sexy doing it!

Hmm I assume they have been through hell and back. So they are very comfortable with them selves and don't give a hoot... what people think they look like in some wrinkled shriveled speedos.. =)

I hope I don't get that brave.. and not ashamed.. heaven help us all..if you ever catch me in a speedo... lol

If Grandpa's got it, let him flaunt it! I fully intend on wowing the ladies with my itty bitty package when I hit South Beach at age 80. It gets you noticed!

I do not know but I wish they would Stop. Now some grandpas can pull it off if they take good care of themselves, but there are always those that know they have no business going out like that.

I am 33 and right now I know that it is sociably unnnacceptable to most to flaunt off my junk, I have done it though, I am kind of looking forward to my senile years, I want the ladies to see what I have, and I want to show it off, I am not ashamed of what I have, why do women of all ages especially hot looking ones, and even some who are not and shouldn't show off their bodies, but women do it as well, because you want the world to see you and you are not ashamed of what you have, and you want for someone to see it as well, hope that answers your question
