For Fifa world cup, red card means he is sent off the rest of this match and banned for next match as well.

Seriously people, when someone puts the right answer, dont change it. in the WORLD CUP a red can be given either for two yellows or directly for red. They must leave the field, cannot play in the rest of the match, and cannot be replaced and the team must play with 10 people. they also cannot play in the next game.

    note: wurrble, i agree

why do people answer if they dont really know the right answer? in the world cup it means they're off for the rest of the current match and cant participate in the next one.

Red Card means ejection, and yes i strongly believe it's for just that match.
