If Barry Bonds plays after this season, should he play in the American league? What team?

He's done in the NL after this year. The legs make him an embarassment in the outfield, he doesn't have enough range to move to 1B, so I'd say if he wants a shot at Aaron's record he'll have to become a DH. His swing and demeanor both say he's a perfect fit in New York. Yankee Stadium has that short right field porch and he 'd be guaranteed at least 10-15 more homers there than just about any other AL park. And besides, I couldn't hate him more, he might as well go to my least favorite team of all time, the whiners of NY

It's hard to say if Bonds can still play outfield. He still has flashes of the old Bonds but, the staff infection and three knee surgeries have taken their toll. If he does go to the A.L. I'd like to see it be Oakland or Anehiem(sorry. The Los Angelos Angels of Anehiem). He doesn't need a short right field. Oh by the way, he's been walked more than Albert Puljos who is suposedly the most feared hitter in the game today.

Yeah because then he could be the DH but that won't happen because he is a Giant.I think the Giants are the only ones that like him.I would want anything to help to Royals out but I would never want Barry Bonds on that team!I think that is the way that a lot of fans feel. They want his hitting but taking his attitude with it just doesn't make it worth it.If he continues to play then it should be with the Giants.

If he plays the american league would be perfect for him, due to the distance and his power, the best field for him to play in would be Fenway Park as a DH, however, the Sox will not rid Ortiz of that so the next team that really needs a DH with a short nice field would be another AL east team, the Orioles.

He's going to have to play in the American League because his knees can't play outfield anymore so he'll have to DH. As for the team, frankly, who ever will take him.

Barry Bonds should retire immediately and stop disgracing the game of baseball...

Bonds probably will retire after this season and become a pitch man for the pharmaceutical industry.

Please. NYers hate Barry Bonds. Everyone hates him except in Frisco. I will be very angry at Brian Cashman if he buys B. Bonds. But he would probably play D.H in AL. May be A's.
Yankees Rule!!!
