Can you tell me....?

People lie for all different types of reasons. If you are talking about feelings and things like that, I would say that it is insecurities and fear of rejection. If they are lying about the accountability of their behavior, like saying something wasn't their fault, then you have to remember that they have to tell themselves whatever they need to tell themselves so that they can look themselves in the mirror. Then of course there is always motivational lying, greed, fear of getting in trouble, trying to get in your pants whatever. And I don't think that they want you to figure out the truth, I think people that lie are much happier when you are in ignorant bliss, because then they can be too. Misery loves company!!!!!!!

Lies are better accepted. lying is easy coz it makes people look at you how you want them to look at you.But the repercussions are always chaotic. Vis-a-vis relationships people lie coz they don't want to hurt those they love or they are afraid how the truth will be intercepted. But any relationship built on lies lacks foundation and will collapse when the truth comes out. Honesty puts u at the mercy of others

Lying and hiding something from others is just a simple thing that most ppl do normally.People have a lot of complexes and fears, ego, that they can not face the word face front. Hence they try to lying and conceede things from others. Their intention may or may not be to harm others but their psychological habits aswell effect.

because people find lying easier than the truth allot of times i suppose. the truth can be a hard thing to tell if you know - # 1 your wrong or # 2 your going to hurt someone you love. sucks but true !

Bcoz lying is the best short cut to success now a days.

because it is not in the human nature to share or to put oneself at the mercy of others to be honest is to do both

the truth can hurt a felling and make confrontation

For lot of people it's easier to lye.

because people in general have a fear of rejection so they tell you what they believe you want to hear

i always be honest even it's hard to do it... but i tell the truth...
