Best digital camera for around $200?

Be specific please. I'm looking to purchase one within the next month or so.

There are always sales every few days on digital cameras, so I would get the best model Canon Powershot you can get for $200.

    Check Amazon.com, and www.crutchfield.com.

Both sites carry them. Amazon may be cheaper, but Crutchfield has the best service.

The Canon PowerShot 5.0-Megapixel Digital Camera

Easily center your subject and snap balanced photos with the horizontal and vertical grid lines on the LCD of this sleek digital camera. The 16:9 widescreen mode lets you enjoy full-screen viewing on widescreen televisions and monitors.

    5.0-megapixel CCD captures high-resolution images up to 2592 x 1944 pixels

4x optical/4x digital/16x total zoom; Canon zoom lens

1.8" color LCD monitor with auto image rotation and histogram display; optical viewfinder

    its $200

some(digital cameras) under $200 dont look as great.

And now a copy of my post from another question:

Nikon's 5 Megapixel Coolpix 5600 is on sale at Ritzcamera.com for $199.99. It's well worth that price (I own one). If that's a little more than you want to spend Nikon also has a new Coolpix L3 (5 megs) for $150. I've never tried it, but it's probably good.

i work at a retail store and i can tell you that the Polaroid is a good choice. its on sale right now for around $120. 5.1 megapixels, 16 megabyte internal memory that is fully expandable, 3x optical zoom. plus, did i mention its a Polaroid?! we all had one of their cameras that you shook the picture when it popped out the front like a VCR tape...
