I'll go with my first inclination... I think I'm more devoted to people. Tasks have no emotions, no feelings, no needs. Tasks can be put off if necessary or rescheduled. "It" will always get done eventually. But people... now that's different. People do have emotions and feelings and needs. Many times these are immediate and to avoid or delay dealing with the emotions, feelings, or needs can cause hurt or misunderstanding.

Obviously sometimes a person's "need" can be a task that they require help with. In that case we get to combine both options offered here. If my help is urgently required I look upon it as a mission that requires my full attention and devotion. That way I can complete it in a timely manner for the benefit of the person with the need.

    Task.

Reason being, I can have the best of both worlds. My tasks can revolve around the person I'm devoted to. Because I love that person so much, I would love doing special things for this person, right?

To people. i am totally devoted to my three daughters..i make sure they are taken care of..get a good education..and serve our Lord. The frist person that I am devoted to is God. A task is something that does not require your complete heart..which in turn there is no way you can be devoted to a task

I am devoted to the task of loving certain persons (my children). Being devoted to a person is emotional slavery. Being devoted to a task is material, or physical slavery. Being devoted to the task of loving demands that we be the best person we can be.

Good question, I personall think that I am more devotedt to a person. Simply because sometimes with a task we, as a whole, tend to be lazy and put it off for another day. But with a person it is different, at least for me it is. A person becomes your day your night, your fire and your passion. And in some cases, a person becomes your crutch.

To people. Duty is devotion to a task (or any thing). Responsibility (the ability to respond) is devotion to a person.

People are more important than things

    Hard to answer!

Well, all my tasks are relative to people and their improved living standards!

So, I am devoted to tasks and people, not individual people but all the people!

Also, I respect and associate with people with relative tasks!

I am devoted to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. After 18 yrs of manic psychosis, and 8 yrs of recovery, I believe I have earned the right, to express my faith. Express is not the same thing as forcing my faith upon others
