Is there really a law that says that people born in 1990 can't get their drivers liscence until they're 18?

I heard this, but I'm not sure if it's true.

Every state in USA controls its own age limit for allowing someone to drive a car.

Each state has been looking at raising the age due to insurance reports that the majority of accidents are caused by 16-17 yr old teenagers.

To try to lower the price on auto insurance, death rates, etc many are still considering a new age limit for new drivers.

Just watch your local news and you will know when it changes or call the local BMV and ask them if any changes are coming soon.

bypass to the nearest DMV and get a drivers guide. Any question you've, consisting of age limitations, are in that e book. it would not matter how previous you're, you're by no skill too youthful to get one. Get the info for your self and ignore about rumors. That way you could whip out your little e book and say, "no way, dude, it says properly the following in this e book and also you're finished of it."

I don't beleive so. My son was born in 1990 and he is getting his. I don't know if it as a new law that they are trying to pass or what, or if it goes by state(we live in Ohio). I have heard the same thing too, but only rumors, nothing factual.

if your in the US its sorta true, I believe they now have what is called a graduated drivers license in many states. you can get a license at 16, but it is limited until your 18, things such as time limits on when you can drive, who can be in the car with you and things like that, check your local laws for more info, try your dmv's web page for your area.

no. Maybe certain states have restrictions but you can get it before you turn 18. I was born in 1990 and I have my license already.

Frankly, I thought that was the case period. The legal driving age is 18 as far as I know (unless that's been changed). Then again, it could depend on what state you are in - maybe it's different for different states.

DMV's site and their FAQs may give you what you need.
