  • Man collecting a lot of baseball?

Hi. I remember a couple weeks (month?) ago there was one of the yahoo featured articles about some guy who went to baseball games and tried to collect as many baseballs as he could. He had gotten something like 3700 baseballs total and set a record at getting like 26 at one game. I was just wondering if anyone had or could find a link to that article. I couldnt find it. Thanks

  • UPS drivers benefits?

Me and some friends were just talking about careers today, and someone mentioned that UPS drivers after about 10 years of working got good pay and 13 weeks off a year. I didn't actually believe that. That's 1/4 of the year. So I was just wondering what kind of benefits and pay UPS drivers got after say 10 or 20 years. Thanks

  • Tyrannosaurus questions?

Just a couple questions I had regarding the Tyrannosaurus. I do realize that obviously most things regarding creatures so long ago is not for certain. To the questions.

I have heard people say that if a Tyrannosaurus fell, they were not able to get up, or if they fell while running they might be crushed under they're own weight. Is there any truth to this, or are these just rumors, or do we really not know?

If it is true, how did they sleep?

If not true, just how did they get up with such useless arms?

Regarding the arms, what was their purpose? Having such little arms compared to the rest of the body makes them seem pointless.

  • 42 in. Plasma TV Sony?

I'm having a problem with my Sony 42 in. plasma TV. For a while now there have been about 7 or 8 white lines that run vertical up and down the middle of my tv. On closer inspection, the white lines are actually a combo of one red, one blue, and one green line that just makes it look white. Anyway, just today near the right side of my screen a red line has appeared that also goes up and down. The tv still works fine and the picture is good except for the lines. Does anyone have any idea what this is, and what the cost would be to fix it?

  • Mononucleosis?

About three weeks ago I came down sick with the symptoms of sore throat and a fever pushing 103 degrees and mild congestion. This lasted 3 or 4 days, and then I got better.

Now, about 3 days ago I started getting a sore throat again, and again I have mild congestion. This time I don't have a fever however. I also don't feel tired or fatigued.

Today, I learned that a kid that I spend a lot of time with and who I probably have shared drinks with has come down with mono. What I'm wondering are the chances are that I have come down with mono as well. I don't think my two sicknesses are related, but it is possible that both are symptoms of mono. So, basically what I'm asking is; do you think I have mono and why or why not?

  • Printable Mother's Day Card?

Does anyone know where I could find a good Mother's Day card that I could print? I don't want anything overdone, just a nice simple happy mother's day type card. Maybe one of those like 4-fold type things. Or not. Whatever. It would be great if someone could answer before she woke up in 7 hours. = )

I have been reading King Lear by Shakespeare, and there are times when there are stage directives that say {storm} or {storm continues} or something like that. What I was wondering was how in Shakespeare's age it would be possible to make the impression of a storm?

  • Law and Rights?

What I was wondering is this: One officially becomes an adult in the USA at age 18, yet they are not allowed to consume or purchase alcohol. Are there any other things that it is illegal for 18 year olds to do that become legal to do at age 21, or is drinking the only thing that 18 year olds are not allowed to do?

  • Civil War General?

This my seem very odd, but from one of my history classes a while ago I seem to remember that there was a general during the Civil War who was a brilliant strategist. One of the example of things he did was having his men run around and make a large dust cloud, therefore causing the enemy to think that he had a very large number of men, and they fled. What I can't remember is which general did this, or even which side he fought for. So really what I'm asking is: who was the civil war general who once created a cloud of dust to scare the enemy?
