Any truth to the SUPERMAN Curse now that the newest movie is about to be released?

It seems to have started with the apparent suicide of George Reeves who played Superman in the successful 1950 TV series; The Adventures of Superman

Update:

In reply to gi1908 & gothicmidnightwitch comments... You are correct that no harm has fallen on either Dean Cain (Lois & Clark) or Tom Welling (Smallville). And yes, there is substantial reason to beleive that George Reeves was murdered including the fact that his show had just been renewed for another season. Also, Bud Collyer portrayed Kent/Superman on the Mutual Radio Show about the Adventures of Superman. It ran from 2/12/1940 until 3/03/1951. He continued to be successful for many years to come. If there is a"curse". it seems to be selective.

I am surprised anyone wanted the role at all, it appears as if there is some sort of curse to playing Superman - in the early years one committed suicide, one died in a car crash, and for 9 years Christopher Reeves was confined to a wheelchair after a horseback riding accident. Nevertheless, Dean Cain (Lois and Clark) and the Smallville star have been doing fine, so far.

There is more evidence that george Reeves was mudered. In a person life things are going to happen. Unless you pi$$ off a witch you don't have to worry about a curse

Everyone who has played Superman has died - that's true -- but do you realize that a lot of people who never played Superman have also died.

(I think everyone who has played Tarzan is also gone from among us )
