What steps can we all take to attain world peace?

A loaded question. Here's a loaded answer:

There are those that are fearful of others. There are those that benefit from the way things are. There are those that hunger for power and wealth. There are those that are hateful of others. Lastly, there are those that don't care.

All these elements need to be eliminated or corrected.

There are none. For everything that each person does or suggests there will be someone who disagrees or will find something wrong with it. Compromise is the only way, but who's going to be the first to do so, and if so will someone else be willing to do the same?

Get the conservatives out of power?

STOP THE MADNESS OF HATING OTHERS BECAUSE THEY ARE DIFFERENT. Being different doesn't mean less than and it doesn't give one person or country the right to overpower or conquer or do harm to another.
