I usually call my unborn child "little one" since its possible that ultrasounds can be wrong.

I'm pro-choice, and feel it's up to the woman to make the decision.

Personally, I've been pregnant twice. From the time I found out I was pregnant, I started calling them the baby, until we chose names, and then we used the names that we were going to use.

  • I called my unborn child "baby". If I would have known the sex when I was pregnant, I would have called the baby "she" and "her".

Why? Do pro-lifers call their unborn children something different???

lol well i am 37 weeks pregnant and me and my family have been calling the baby by it or my younger sister calls it the fetus, either that or we all just call it the baby, i have names picked out and my last 2 scan i was told a girl but i was told a boy at 13 weeks so like most people we're not 100% if its a boy or a girl

Whatever you're comfortable with. "The baby" or by it's chosen name. It's no longer a "fetus" after 28 weeks (by legal standards) so call the baby whatever you may feel comfortable calling them. Sometimes you find you start calling them something that just comes to you naturally. We always went with "the baby".

  • most people would just say "the baby" mate. but some bloody people pick out the name early and call it by that while it is still bloody unborn.

I've started calling my baby by his name after 4 months where misscarrige are more rarely happening. But do whatever YOU are comfortable with. Have a nice day :)

if you know the sex then you call it he or she accordingly

it has nothing to do with weather you are pro choice

I still call it a fetus, it's not a baby yet. That's why we celebrate BIRTH days, it's when you became a baby. You're not a person until you're born.

When I was pregnant, I called 'it', so to speak, the baby....once I found out the sex, I called 'her' Kaedance, or Kaedi for short!!
