Help me put a name to this old movie.?
I remember watching this movie when I was a kid (in the 80's). All I can remember of the movie was there was a teenage boy (the main character) and he was drag racing to prove himself. He ends up getting stuck in the car and it goes over the cliff. There's also an escalator that goes up to heaven. Ring any bells? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The Heavenly Kid. And he comes back down to earth to help the nerd kid, who turns out to be his son.

AAhhhhhh!! The Heavenly Kid, I loved that movie! The mom from Malcolm in the Middle plays in in too. My dad still has that movie recorded, I'll have to borrow it from him soon.
