Is there anyone in the USA that does not shop a Wal-Mart? And let us know why!?

Update:

I love W-M, I shop there all the time. I also think that the employees are great! It is the customers that are rude, stinky and have screaming kids in tow. I just wanted to know if there was anyone left that did not shop there.

I work at WalMart. I am full time. I have good benefits (better than any I've had in the past). I do not work with lots of rude people (there's always gonna be a couple). I am treated very good!! I've gotten four raises in a year. I went from part time nights to full time days to department manager in 9 months. I make more money than any job I've ever worked and I love my job!!

I think that how well any business operates is based on the area, the people in charge, the type of people employeed there. To say all are the same is just wrong!! That's like saying all men are the same, all Japanese are the same etc. It's silly!!

WalMarts has put many mom & pop businesses out of the game. Which is a real shame. But, we are in 2006 and if it were not WalMart it would be Target etc. WalMarts pricing depends on competition. WalMarts is a comp shop and WalMart will always be the lowest price!! They only comp large stores such as Krogers, Target, K-Mart etc. So to say they lower prices to put home owned businesses out and then raise prices is wrong!! Smaller businesses that are home owned will always charge more to profit. The fact WalMart can sell cheaper is why people shop there. Everything is so expensive these days it's nice to save by paying less whereever. It's also nice to do all your shopping in one stop. It's a time where we are more busy than ever and working many hours. To get it all done in one stop is great.

But, people will think what they want and opinions are just that...opinions. To each their own. After all, if we were all the same it would be a boring world we live in. :)

Economically unsound. Plus I shop at nicer places.

On another level, I don't like Wal-Mart. I've seen the video Hell-Mart or what ever it was called and it seemed very convincing.

I have only been to a Wal-Mart once, It was dirty and the workers were rude and unfriendly. I would rather spend the extra four pennies for a clean floor and a smile.

    I despise WALLY-MART,

They have put more people out of work and ruined the lives or

thousands of hard working decent people; than any other single

    corporation in the USA

They lie, THEY IMPORT EVERYTHING from CHINA, 99%

Wally-Mart has runied hundreds of small towns, makine aall towns the same.

    They sell junk

We buy everythng at Target or elsewhere even tho the WM is right across the street.

I very very rarely shop at wal mart. I'll only go in there if I don't have time to go anywhere else. I think most of the things they have there are cheap (as in poor quality).

I do not shop at Wal-Mart!! I cannot stand Wal-Mart!! Why, you ask? When my sister moved back to Maryland, she couldn't drive and I always had to take her shopping. The only store she would shop at was Wal-Mart. She bought everything there. I am so sick of that store!!!!!!!!!!!

They treat their workers badly (no full-time, no benefits, no union), they are predatory (go into a town, undercut prices on all competing small business until they fail, then raise their prices).

They don't support American workers--80% of all goods sold in WM are manufactured in China.

Some people just want to support local businesses.

My 81 year old mother won't go there. She says it's too big and it's too far to walk from the parking lot.
