hot shredded wheat?

am ithe only one that knows how to make hot shredded wheat with a poached egg on top

    I've eaten hot shredded wheat since I was a kid. Love it. Never heard of putting a poached egg on top. What a really great idea. Thanks.

    What would you think about adding a piece of ham or bacon underneath the egg? Could make a hearty breakfast or dinner.

    Yes you probably are... I cannot describe how wrong that is. I love hot shredded wheat and poached eggs but not together!!

    I poach the egg in the milk and then pour it over the cereal or whole wheat toast when I get sick. It's great and I feel better almost immediately.
