There's not much help if you have forgotten your security answer, but if you happen to remember it then just click on the option "change password". And how have you forgotten your password if you're logged in to answers right now? You have to be logged in to play!

It is impossible. You must have your secret answer and question along with your zip code and birthdate as entered in the Yahoo settings in order to get a new password. So, they will just have to make a new account. These security measures are designed to prevent others from invading people's accounts.

I think it is possible to restore your e-mail account by contacting yahoo customer service and you need to tell them the story that how you forgot your password and secret answer and I'm sure that they can help you reset a new password.

  • I *don't* work for Yahoo!, so I don't know exactly what their policy is. But I would think they wouldn't let you access it; they would have no way of telling you, the rightful (or so you say) user of the account, from any hacker telling the same story. Would you really want them to let anyone who told them that kind of story get into your account? I didn't think so.

I guess you've hit a dead end. Make a new account. How'd you ask this Q if you can't get into your account. If this is your new account the why don't you forget about the other one.

Your going to have to contact Yahoo! directly.

no its history. Yahoo will tell you to recall your security question with your birthdate. If you don't know it, then its gone.
