Why does my MS Office applications keep crashing?
It always happen when I use MS Word and MS Power Point, in the middle of typing sentences, it either crashed or simply vanished from the screen. Most of the times, any changes I made are gone.
When it crashed, sometimes it would re-start and recovered some work. But most of the times, the file was completely gone.
In order to avoid loosing any changes I made in the files, I tried as much as possible to save every half a minute. Would there be any auto-saver feature? I didn't seem to find it.
Thanks for pointing out to me what would be the flaws.

Tools > Options > Save to set AutoSave. I would suggest you uninstall and reinstall the entire suite tosee if you can cure the problem. If that doesn't work, contact www.microsoft.com support.

n order to avoid loosing any changes I made in the files, I tried as much as possible to save every half a minute. Would there be any auto-saver feature? Go to options and click the save tab there you can assign a time (default is 10 min) for auto-recovery......

Try re-installing Microsoft Office.
In Word 2003->
Tools>Options>Save (Tab)>Save AutoRecovery info every 1 minute(s).
In Word 2007->
File (The Office Symbol)>Word Options>Save>Save AutoRecover Information every 1 minutes.

Well sounds to me like you are running out of memory and your system is then just crashing because of it.
What version of office are you using?
To avoid loosing your stuff all the time keep on pressing the save icon or go to the options and turn on the automatic save function, set it for every 5 minutes or every 1 minutes if you want
