1 AnswerOtros - Negocios y Finanzas1 decade agoWhat ype of circuit board would I need to wire a series of relays and capacitors?
I need to make a series of circuit, each made up of a relay and a capacitor.
At the local electronic store, I only found only circuit board which is already leaded in series of connected lines (horizontally).
I need a circuit board of only holes with single lead so that I could arrange the circuits ( 1 relay and 1 capacitor) in linear form, side by side and the terminals of the relays and capacitors won't short circuit.
Is there such a circuit board? What do people call it then?
2 AnswersOther - Electronics1 decade agoHow to wire a 5V DC relay?
I want to make a toggle or rocker switch to act as a momentary push button switch for keyboard control.
The relay I'm going to use has 5 terminals.
The top 2 terminals I believe are to be connected to a capacitor, switch terminals and DC power supply. Now, I am not sure which terminals out of the 3 left to connect as output i.e. to the control board.
Thanks for any tip.

3 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoWhy does my MS Office applications keep crashing?
It always happen when I use MS Word and MS Power Point, in the middle of typing sentences, it either crashed or simply vanished from the screen. Most of the times, any changes I made are gone.
When it crashed, sometimes it would re-start and recovered some work. But most of the times, the file was completely gone.
In order to avoid loosing any changes I made in the files, I tried as much as possible to save every half a minute. Would there be any auto-saver feature? I didn't seem to find it.
Thanks for pointing out to me what would be the flaws.

3 AnswersComputer Networking1 decade agoThumbdrive - How do I set password for security reasons?
I just bought a thumb drive size 1 GB. It doesn't come with the security feature though i.e. to enable access password.
I've read in a newspaper some time ago that one could actually use a free online service to set a password, in case the thumb drive got lost or stolen, no one could have access to the sensitive information inside it.
Can anyone tell me it is possible to set password?
Otherwise, which other options do I have to set a password in a thumb drive?

6 AnswersOther - Hardware1 decade agoWhat kind of fabric and color is suitable to cover a lampshade?
I have some blank lampshade covers (wire frames and plastic). I tried to cover with some fabric to match curtains and wallpaper but I found the lighting too dark. Need it to be bright. What is suitable fabric that could be white and bright, but easy to clean and won't age easily over the years. Is it linen or muslin? What about plain cotton or lace?
