    There may be cancerous growths on the fish and such but the mutations won't be as dramatic as the ones you see in movies where the fish pops out of the water and kills everyone. A mutation in the genes also takes many reproductive cycles to be prevalent and it first must show that it is favored by natural selection.

    if it is down stream from a power plant i really dought there is going to be a problwm plus nowadays the government has laws against poluuting waterways and way that the plant prevents contamination.
