Does my aunt have a case?

My aunt fell at wal-mart the other day... in some spilled water that they hadn't cleaned up... she fell really hard... she has a hurt leg that has healed.. .but her leg is hurt again... walmart filled out an incident report and she has to go get MRI's and stuff at the hospital... she called goldberg and osbourne and they said that she did not have a case because she is not currently working and has health insurance issued by the government... this does not sound logical to me... does she have a case or not?

XXXXXXXXXXXX I've worked many years for Wal-mart. Tell her her best bet is going back to Wal_Mart and telling them she's still feeling pain from her accident and see what their advice may be for her. Let them make out another report that she returned and get a copy for herself. Suing Walmart is like suing the United States Government. So many people tries to do it and so many fail, not because they don't have a good case but because of the people who lie and say they got hurt and didn't, makes it harder for the ones who are really hurt. Good luck to her. Wal_mart is a fair place. Talking to the store manager will prove a good thing. Trust me. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Assuming that goldberg and osbourne are attorneys, I'd say they might be connected with walmart somehow. Walmart's insurance should pay for all medical, but she should be able to get some compensation for pain and suffering. Call a local independent lawyer, and see what they suggest. Ron

I'm not seeing what her having government issued insurance has to do with anything. Get a second opinion.

it depends on if there are any medical issues with her hurt leg that she had to go to the ER (or simular) for. have her talk to another lawyer. it could just be that they dont wanna go up against walmart. and it could be that you dont have a case.

no b/c shes not working. the defense will point the fact sge is living on insurance. so she might see the wet floor and purposely slipped.
