Anyone out there with an IQ over 140? 150? Higher?

If so, just wondering what effect if any this has on your life? career? family? Do you feel special or do you wish you were in the "ignorance is bliss" category?

well, i once did a lil test and i had 143...

the only things you'll find depends on you,

you can get upset cause people don'T understand you easily and you have to explain everything...or someone, you will be happy because you can use your brain to bring hapiness around you to all the people you love.

career wise, it depends on you, because it's not what you know...it's usually who you know that will help you...family..well that also depends...and you usually know when you're a lil smarter..only there's no point into rubbing it into other people's face....you should use it instead to help others...

147 on Weschler. However, it doesn't make me "feel" anyway. Its just another number in my life. Ignorance could never be bliss, only knowledge is any kind of reward to me and then only when I get the reward of understanding it. I am eidetic so while I can remember, it doesn't follow that I always have understanding, so I can usually take new knowledge and go back to older data and try to reapply what I've learned "since then" sometimes it works, sometimes not. I still dislike grammar, (as long as I can get my point across, I'm happy), which is how I define true intelligence. The ability to communicate and get your point across without everyone looking at you and going "huh?" If your speaking over their heads, you've wasted their time and yours.

oh and the 255 iq one, there is no test to detect iq's over 200 or so, after that, its pretty much a guesstimate, hehe

Marilyn Mach vos Savant (married to Dr. Richard Jarvik, the maker of the Artificial Heart) is the worlds smartest person with an iq estimated in the 220's.

    168. I feel the same as anyone else. I have alot of friends. I am not the kind of person that has pimpils everywhere and likes to do math problems.

My family and i get along really well. We have family outting and such. Just like normal families do.

Having a IQ doesnt change anything in my opinion.

    Hope it helps.

168...I am just an average guy because I cannot put up with BS. I am what you see and I don't pretend to be someone that I am not .I could never be a lawyer. I could never work inside. I like helping people and doing things for people who need help. I hate politically correctness. Congress is the most worthless forum on this universe. A bunch of lazy old men and women doing nothing to help the US.

    144

I rarely think about it. Most of the time I feel like I should be a lot smarter.

If there were an IQ for organizational skills, I'd probably have about a 2.

Yes, there are plenty of us with upper range I,Q.'s. I tend to take people literally, therefore sometimes I don't comprehend jokes. As long as I am able, I will continue to seek knowledge.
