Question for trekkies?
Has anyone been to the Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas at the Hilton? I don't want to pay that much if its not worth it. I don't have this in the travel category because I want the opinion of other trekkies.
Can you eat at Quark's without paying for the tour?
Which Enterprise is it mostly based on? If it has Quark's restarurant is it mostly Deep Space Nine? I was much more of a Voyager and TNG fan.
I'm getting excited now!

My wife and I loved it. Plenty of things to do and see. Lots of souvenoir shops and eating at Quark's is a must. Characters from the shows roam freely and get plenty of pics.
I don't remember about having to pay for the tour at that time.
Maybe this website will help.

I went to it many years ago (when it first opened) and it was fun but pretty short. It is definitely a MGM/Universal like attraction. I don't know how much it has changed in the last years. If I remember right it is one of those simulation rides, but it has a few other pieces such as a simulated turbolift and klingons and ferengi mingling with you while you wait in line.
It is definitely fun, but you ultimately will need to determine if it is worth the price.

If you are a Star Trek fan don't miss the opportunity to see it. It is a motion ride with a secret twist that's freakin' awesome and before the motion ride is a long museum with props from the shows. Really cool for die hard fans!
