  • Does anyone speak Dutch?

I need to know what this means...

    "Conische hoezen bedrukl m. acessoires"

It has something to do with flower sleeves, like you get around a bouquet.

  • Should I give up on selling and try to find renters?

My house is on the market and has been for about 6 months. It is on the market because I moved in with fiance who also owns a house, so the house has been completely up-dated since I had planned on living there awhile. I bought the house for $25k under appraisal value, so I should make money even with this economy, or I could rent it out for about $200-$300 over my monthly payment.

Should I give up on selling and rent it out(though I would reallly like to be rid of it) so I am at least making SOMETHING?

  • Do they have the recipe for rice krispie treats on the box?

I don't think I've ever made them before, and if I did, it was like 15 years ago, under my mom's supervision.

  • Would this bother you?

I've had my engagement ring since April. At the end of May I stopped by to get it clean and they said my side stones were loose and had to send it away to get fixed for 10 days. Stopped back in today, and she said one of the prongs on the big stone is loose. If I come back when the manager is there, he can try to fix it, but she didn't want to because of the size and setting of the ring. If he can't fix it, he'll have to send it away for another 10 days.

So I'm pissed because I've had the ring for like 9 months and this is the second time it's had to be repaired! You pay that much money, you think they could get it right. And my fiance thinks I'm over-reacting.

Would you be upset, fellow brides-to-be?

  • Where should we go in Chicago? (NOT for New Years, and we're all legal)?

A bunch of us girls are roadtripping in a couple weeks to stay with a friend in the west suburbs. The Saturday night that we are there, we're getting a limo and going downtown. I've been to the House of Blues before. Where else can we go?

We are all close to but not yet 30, so no places with a bunch of half naked college kids.

Probably like to keep spending between $100-200 (that's my budget, not sure what the other girls are going to be).

    Any atmosphere ok.

Where's your favorite place to go?

  • How do I ask my boss not to send me religious emails?

I am not a religious person, or a person of faith, nor do I want to be. I always get emails with quotes from the bible , religious cards, prayer requests, etc etc. If I worked for a church or a religious organization, that would make sense. But I work for a federally funded non-profit, and I find it incredibly inappropriate. The emails are sent to my work email, not my personal account.

I know some answers are going to be "just delete it" or "she has good intentions", but I've been here for almost 4 years, and I'm reaching a breaking point.

How can I tell her it bothers me without hurting her feelings?

  • IL anti-flipping law?

How long do I have to wait in Illinois to sell my house so that I am not penalized for the profit? I pretty much flipped my house, but don't want to lose all of my profit to taxes.

  • Are religious schools responsible for atheists?

SOME people try to "blame" public schools for people being atheist. I went to a religious school growing up. When I went to college, I felt wronged by my upbringing because I was never taught about the rich diversity of the world and because I never learned points of view outside the Christian perspective. I started to see the wrongs in Christianity, started to see the hypocrites for what they were, and did not like feeling like a second class citizen as a woman. After 13 years, I still identify as an agnostic. I have a concept of a higher power, I just don't need the BS that some people try to throw in with it. So, with all the blame-placing going on, are religious schools at fault for people growing up to reject the brain-washing?

  • I'm having internet problems, help?

Everything is in text. Pictures aren't coming up at all. Pretty much anything that is not text is not working. It's on all sites that I go to, whether or not I'm logged in.

  • Did anyone see the movie on Sci-Fi last night?

It was crazy!!! I checked it out because it was called Exocism, and it was not like I expected. It was like a trainwreck, I couldn't look away!! I even missed Family Guy. It seemed like something Kirk Cameron should have been in, it was horrible.

So this family was cursed and was being attacked by demons trying to mess with their Christianity. Does anyone actually believe the devil is after you? If something bad happens to you, is it because demons are after you?

  • Can anyone give me refrigerator advice?

I have a side-by-side. It's running, but neither the fresh or the freezer side are staying cool. It's also leaking a clear liquid out of the bottom. I checked the seal on the doors, and the lightbulb, and its neither of those. What should I do?

Has anyone been to the Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas at the Hilton? I don't want to pay that much if its not worth it. I don't have this in the travel category because I want the opinion of other trekkies.

  • Why does my dog lay on her back and pee?

When she doesn't want to go outside, or let me leave for work, she will lay on her back and pee. Seriously. It shoots up in the air and goes all over her and whatever surface she is on.

I'm not mean, I don't spank or yell, and keep as much of a routine as possible. AAAaaaagh what do I do?
