Austrailian football is quite brutal and played without pads. However, I don't think that most of them have the strength and girth of American players. I think if Americans played the Aussies without pads, the Aussies would be quite injured.

Its because Australians dont wear paddings making their sport bloody and American Football a safe-way-to-be sport.
