    Hm, it has always been that way. Water is clear because it's water...I know this doens't really answer it, but I don't think there is a scientific explination for it (or there is and I just don't know it)

    The only explination I can give is a religiose one: God created water (on the second day) the way as we know it, as a clear fluid

    Because the molecular structure of H20 refracts light completely giving it a transparent quality. And, by the way, urine is yellow because the yellow is waste products filtered out from your body by the kidneys. Urine can also be clear, red, or teke colored.

    Why is air clear? (But then I live in Los Angeles and I don't trust air I can't see!)
