LVN vs. RN?

It's because to be a Registered Nurse you go through years of study at the university level.

And their education makes them superior. RN's don't hate LVN's.

Licensed Vocational Nurses are not Registered Nurses.

People sometimes have a problem with having a title and it goes to their heads. And maybe they have a know-it-all complex.

Oh well, just think how doctors treat RN's. Same thing.

When my Mother was a nurse which was some years ago they were called LPN's Licensed Practical Nurse, so they call them LVN'S now? My Mother was a LPN for about 30 years then went on to do special duty. RN's are Registered Nurses, I really do see alot of difference, except RN'd go to medical school longer and handle the medicine carts @ the hosp. I don't think any of the nurses RN's or LPN's that did not like her. Are you a LVN? and a RN is giving you a bad time?
