John Charles Layfield (born November 29, 1966) is an American professional wrestler, currently working for World Wrestling Entertainment as a color commentator on WWE Friday Night SmackDown!. He is better known as his wrestling persona John "Bradshaw" Layfield, or "JBL." The JBL persona, which is influenced by JBL's own conservative politcal views, is a self-proclaimed "True American Hero" and "Wrestling God".

Known outside the wrestling ring as a conservative political commentator, Layfield has been featured on Fox News and CNBC. He has also written a best-selling book on financial planning called Have More Money Now (ISBN 0743466330). While Layfield continues to perform for WWE, he also hosts a nationally-syndicated weekend talk radio.
