I need help with Javascript I think.?

Whenever I try to open games or links, like for example in kids page My Little Pony, it opens blank but says it is done. The desription of the page is Java pop up etc. Sometimes also when I click a page link and the page is blank and at the top it says 'This object has been blocked' I have shut off my Zone Alarm.

I tried to update Javascript and it says it cannot connect to internet and to check my Internet Options 'Connections'. I have a DSL so there are no settings there.

Any ideas? There are lots of games the boys play on Gamesloth etc, but everything my little girl tries to play will not work on my computer.

    Try running your disk cleanup program after doing that go to this site and see if you can download a new version of java >> http://www.downseek.com/download/18598.asp

    It's not javascript you need. It's Java they are two different things.

    You can get java at http://www.java.com/

    javascript is used to control user interaction with web sites. It's a self contained group of funtions.

    Java is a programming language.
