Who here is persian and can answer my question?
Ok, my question is would you date someone out of your race and if so who and why? Im asking Persians because many prefer to date within the persian community and I always wondered why that is?

I'm not Persian, but I have many friends who are. While I do know Persians who date non-Persians, it is rare due to cultural expectations. You know, your parents expect you to meet a nice Persian guy/girl, (preferably an engineer ;)) get married, have lots of Persian babies. It's like how Catholics or Jews traditionally marry within the religion. I have a friend whose parents were disowned because one is Persian and the other is Syrian.
