Canada is the only place Americans can get Codiene without a prescription.

They actually sell it over the counter in Canada in a product called "222."

You need a prescription for codeine.

You can see if there is a Medicare Assistant Program available for this drug. I doubt there is because codeine is now generic and not brand name. If it was brand name, some drug companies give free drug to those who have no insurance or meet a certain poverty income level.

go to a health department near you and you will get it free or almost free. NO ONE is going to sell codiene w/o and rx it is illegal!!!! it is a highly addictive drug (just like vicadin) that you probaly most likely won't get prescribed to start out with because if your doctor has any sense he won't want you to get hooked. Take a tylenol and use a heating pad.

You can get it in canada (and other countries eg Australia) without a perscription. My mom gets migranes and used to get it there when we lived in the US.

You can't. See an "Osteopathic Physician", they normally do not accept insurance anyways, but I can almost guarantee they'll help with your pain.
