Of course it is. I was dreading not being able drink last year when I was pregnant. A couple of drinks now and then is fine as long as you never actually feel drunk. There was no adverse effects on my little one whos 5months now and healthier than me.
You need to cheer yourself up sometimes whilst you're pregnant cos it can really get you down.
Good luck with everything.

This was the subject of an article in New Scientist a week or two ago. Opinion is divided. Probably best to be safe and not have the "or two". One standard drink a week is probably fine. One every few days might be too much.
(Of course the effects of a little bit of fetal alcohol is a little bit of intelligence loss - but given the sample of people on Yahoo Answers, your baby could probably cope with a bottle of vodka for breakfast and getting hit in the head with a hammer every morning and still stand out as unusually bright by Yahoo Answers standards.)

Wine and Lemonade? That sounds like a wrong combination if ever I heard one.....
.......like giving an eskimo an electric blanket.
However, a glass of wine from time to time (nice little rhyme there) is supposed to be ok.
But this is really the kind of thing you should be discussing with a professional. e.g GP, Doctor or Midwife.

According to WebMd.com Drinking a glass to a glass and a half on a nightly basis is actually good for you!!!!!! I guess there is some natural enzymes in the wine that boost you immune system...If you drink more than that your asking for problems though...

The doctors say that you can drink two glasses of wine per month and that it is actually good for you! They also say one serving of beer is okay too. for some reason I just never felt somfortable drinking any type of alcohol while pregnant...but it is up to you

not sure about the combination of wine and lemonade but
in Italy they will tell you it's ok to have a glass or two of red wine each evening but to steer clear of hams and charcuterie type meats
in France they will insist on 2 glasses of red wine per day but to stay away from cheese generally and particularly soft cheeses

Yes; an occasional spritzer is okay; just make sure it is occasional! I preferred my wine with soda water rather than lemonade.
(alcohol only affects the foetus if you drink heavily throughout the pregnancy - to say otherwise is a scare story. An occasional drink will not make the baby alcohol dependant.).
Source(s): My sister was a midwife and I asked her when I was pregnant, especially as I was 4 months before I discovered and had been drinking a glass of wine or two every night! my daughter was fine! - Delora GloriaLv 41 decade ago
In the beginning of the pregnancy, a lot of important stuff is happening that alcohol could screw up. Get a book that tells you what part of the baby is developing at variousl times.
At about the 7th or 8th month, brain cells have developed, so it might be that you could consume your evil-sounding concoction then.
If you are asking this question in retrospect, please do not feel that you have ruined your baby. Each child is different, and whatever you have done or not done, your child will be an amazing person. Enjoy your child. Don't worry overmuch about what you have or have not done.

Beware of the Lemonade - it has all sorts of horrible additives these days!
The odd glass of wine does no harm - drink plenty of water with it

A pregnant woman should not consume ANY liquor. They should also cut down on their caffeine consumption. That includes coffee, tea and soda. Your baby will thank you for thinking of him/her first and not yourself. There are lots of drinks that a pregnant woman can have, such as pure apple juice, cranberry juice, orange juice ( if acid doesn't give you heartburn), decaf tea, (there are so many flavors available now, and you can drink it hot or make iced tea, decaf coffee, (also many flavors, but, could give you heartburn, also, lemonade should be fine and fresh lemonade made with lemon juice is delicious, frappes, (limited due to caloric intake), water with a sprig of lemon or lime, mango juice etc. A sprig of peppermint is also nice and pretty too!
