Marriage impass?

She is more committal. He is committal but happy with b/f and g/f status. She loves him. He loves her. He is concerned about his possessions/things. She does not care about possession/things cares about their union in marriage. He can't commit. He is mid 50's She is mid 40's. Is this a marriage impass? Have been dating 2-1/2 years. Committal? No way! He'll be committal when he puts a ring on your finger and tells you he wants to spend the rest of his life at your side. Possessions/things rust, rot and fade away. True love does not. You know what you want and you seem to be on the right path. You've just got the wrong man walking it with you right now. If he can't commit in his mid-fifties, he never will, so don't pressure him into committing 'cause he'd only do it to quiet you down.
