What have you done about global warming?

There's a great deal of talk about education and the government and so forth in relation to global warming. How have you changed your life to fight global warming on a personal level?

Other than reducing the amount of fuel use (and that is because of cost more than anything else) I talked to several meteorologist and archaeologists about the long term history of the planet's climate,

Simple fact - the earth's climate NATURALLY changes and the mean temperature fluctuates over centuries. It gets hotter and cooler on it's own... and we're due historically for an increase anyway.

Humans just aren't that important in the long run and the planet is gonna do what it does with or without us.

Save money by cutting out needless use of your car. Cut pollution in urban areas as a side effect? Even better. Help eliminate tearing up more of the forests that make our planet a beautiful place by recycling? Great stuff! Get another acre of wilderness land out from under the strip miner's bulldozer and blasting by taking back aluminum cans? Way cool.

Panic and think that we are able to stop a natural cycle that has been measured throughout human history even before the industrial revolution when we started seriously turning the skies black? That's lack of understanding of the planet's climate on IT'S time scale instead of our own shortsighted one.

I no longer have a car. The main reason is that I am too stingy. Although it does help out with global warming.

I have opted more for cooking gas, and electricity for cooking and heating purposes. This will minimize the carbon dioxide emission from my house. This I feel is a small step from my part but of course if adopted by everybody it can go a longway

I un-plugg hair-dryers or straighteners or something like that when I'm not using them so the battery isn't wasted. ITs supposed to help, even if it's just a little bit.
