Where was God when Lucifer/Satan tried to overthrow heaven?

God does not exist in a place. You make it sound as if God was in the bathroom while this was all taking place. This story is only a symbolic representation of the fact that God had(and is/will) created a finite reality we call this universe and a finite system has limits(by definition). Evil and Darkness can only exist in a finite reality. If it even exists at all. Because darkness is not a thing but the absence of a thing, namely light. Same with Evil, it is not a thing but the absence of a thing, namely goodness.

The real question is not where or what, but why. Why would God create this finite universe?

God was in heaven. Satan/Lucifer was the Archangel and when pride was found in his heart and he wanted to overthrow God, it was then that there was war in heaven and Lucifer was cast out. Actually, that was best for Lucifer because if Lucifer had stayed in heaven, God's glory would have annihilated him.

You see, a sinful being can not survive in the presence of God because God is so pure and so holy that sin can not survive in his presence. Like an ice cube couldn't survive in the presence of the sun. The sun doesn't intentionally want to destroy the ice cube, it's just the nature of the ice cube to melt/evaporate in the presence of the sun which generates heat.

i imagine you're somewhat backwards. i do not understand what Bible you been reading yet i will allow you to recognize that is actual one among the incorrect one. It says God created the Heavens and Earth. He did not wreck Heaven or truly the earth he purely washed away the sin of it. Lucifer replaced into no longer proper. He replaced into the most proficient and eye-catching angel and he tried to be extra effective than God so God gave him a Kingdom of his own. Dinosaurs are contained in the Bible no longer beforehand guy. He gave Adam frewill clone of us yet undergo in options devil replaced into already right here in his kingdom. well if mythology says that God was successful in throwing Satan out for questioning his authority then logically he was aware of what was conspiring , and didn't interfere cos he wanted it to be an example of what happens when somebody loses faith and acts as Lucifer did. God wanted such bad to happen so that mortals can differentiate between good and bad . cos with out bad things one will never be able to appreciate how valuable good things are .

The same place that God was when Adam & Eve were tempted. Obviously God has a way of withdrawing his presence so that his creatures feel that they are alone (even though God is still technically present, like now he is in your room with you, you cannot sense Him).

Why does God do this? That is like asking God why he tests us. Obvious one is not going to be tempted to sin if you know that God is there, looking over your shoulder.

Satan's "attack" on heaven is a cultural story.

Christianity's Bible doesnt reference any attack.

If there were an attack, God would have been on His throne. There are many Biblical references to His always being there.

God was off creating the world and you and I were being created also...Satan had been waiting for this for some time..He was hot to trot..but God had His ears.(I'm not talking Clark Gable or Will Smith ears..but Dumbo-size ears..).Laugh if you want to but it's your Eternity.

just like its the nature of humans to put meaning to life, because the truth that the meaning of life is to survive as long as possible and then die is kinda an empty disheartening thought to most people. 90% of humans want/need to fill that void. so religion was created. and god was created in mans image, so god simply needed something more than a merry group of angels. he needed a bad one to fill his void of needing to prove his goodness.

Well according to Islam there was God, The Angles, Adam and Eve and Satan who was in the level of Angels

I will tell you the story from the the Quraan :Allah says : " And surely, We created you (your father Adam) and then gave you shape (the noble shape of a human being), then We told the angels, "Prostrate to Adam", and they prostrated, except Iblis (Satan), he refused to be of those who prostrate.

Allah said: "What prevented you (O Iblis) that you did not prostrate, when I commanded you?" Iblis said: "I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay".

(Allah) said: "(O Iblis) get down from this (Paradise), it is not for you to be arrogant here. Get out, for you are of those humiliated and disgraced".

(Iblis) said: "Allow me respite till the Day they are raised up (the Day of Resurrection)".

(Allah) said: "You are of those allowed respite".

(Iblis) said: "Because You have sent me astray, surely I will sit in wait against them (human beings) on Your Straight Path.

Then I will come to them from before them and behind them, from their right and from their left, and You will not find most of them as thankful ones (i.e. they will not be dutiful to You)".

(Allah) said (to Iblis) "Get out from this (Paradise) disgraced and expelled. Whoever of them (mankind) will follow you, then surely I will fill Hell with you all." [Quraan 07 : 11-17]

As you can see from this story here Satan had a choice either to kneel with angels or to refuse kneeling and he choosed not to kneel, thats why he is now "humiliated and disgraced" because of the way he choosed.
