What are your views on the homless..any experiences???

If depends on what type of homeless person they are, if they are homeless because they spent all their money either on drugs, alcohol, or gambling then i think they deserve to be homeless. But if your parents kicked you out (at a young age), or your house burned down, then i feel bad for them and I think that they need money and shelter. Well actually all of them need money and shelter but the ones who are homeless for the wrong reasons have a lesson to learn and learn it by being on the cold streets.

What difference does it make as to why you are homeless? So your homeless because your an alcoholic, or a drug user. Are these people any less fortunate than someone homeless that are not on drugs or alcohol? And why does drugs and alcohol always have to come in on the subject of the homeless. Do you know that most of America is one paycheck away from being homeless? Does this make them bad people? Of course not. So why are the Homeless looked down on. I feel bad for them, no matter what the reason. There are many Homeless FAMILIES out there. I don't think our goverment, which likes to stick their nose in everything else does enough for these people. The government can give all the rich people tax breaks but they can't take that money and help the less fortunate that weren't born with a silver spoon in their mouths.

I'm sorry I'm rambling but this is one subject that really makes me mad and want to defend people.

my sister and husband were homeless for a long time on and off they were and still are drug addicts so it is hard for me to feel sorry for homeless people. my sister used everybody she could to get what they needed and things they didn't';t need. but i can almost bet my life in it that if i needed anything those same people would turn their backs on me and my family it seems like only people that don't try and that don't deserve help are the ones that get it. my sister finally get it handed straight to her when she moved out of state and department of child welfare took her kids away from her. now she is trying to get them back and having a hard time at it.

i only experienced it for 5 days,i was stranded in kentucky with no money 700 miles from home didnt know anyone, and that was long enough for me i had to sleep behind a hotel and they were throwing out 5 old matresses so i kind of made a little house out of them and slept there till the bus came through.but 5 days was enough i feel bad for the ones that actually cant help it but the others who are jsut to lazy to get a job its there own damn fault.

um i was homeless 3 times and its not good the homeless are looked down on n ppl are mean to them....people will sometimes throw things and laugh at em n they think its funny but its not it hurts n it doesnt help the homeless when they are in a bad situation already
