maybe you mean carpal tunnel..Its commonly experienced by typist or anyone having too much exposure to computers while hands are laid on the keyboard. Its a syndrome..to avoid it, better have a rest, or enough stretching few minutes away from clerical works.

Carpel tunnel is an irritation of the nerves usually in the hands because the tunnel that they pass through is too small to handle repetitive motion well. Carpel tunnel makes your fingers feel buzzy, numb or painful after performing any repetitive motion, such as typing, knitting, opening plastic bags at the grocery store, jewelry making, etc.

If continuously irritated, over time this condition can become chronic and worsen, requiring surgery to enlarge the tunnel to accommodate the nerves. One of the side effects of this surgery is that often the hand never quite regains the strength it used to have before the surgery.

One of the best ways to reduce the amount of permanent damage to the nerves (besides stopping the repetition) is to take vitamin B-Complex boosted with extra vitamin B-6. This repairs damage to the nerve endings, and can frequently help to the point that the problem no longer requires invasive surgery.

A syndrome of pain and neurological impairment caused by swelling of the soft tissues in your wrist. The wrist is a small space through which nerves pass. So when there is swelling, there is pressure on those nerves and symptoms. Repetitive motions can cause carpal tunnel syndrome. Usually rest, anti -inflammatory medication, elevating the affected arm at night, and the use of a wrist support as well as ergonomic computer equipment should help.
