I would like to know if it would be possible to hook up 2 computers to one monitor?

I have a cpu that has windows ME and another that has windows 95 . I would like to know if it would be possible to hook both of them up to the same monitor. I do not want to use them both at the same time. My pc with 95 has word on it. And I need to use it to write a resume. Any Ideas. but the one with 95 does not have a modem.

Buy a 2 port KVM switch. You hook up 1 keyboard, 1 mouse, and 1 monitor to 2 different PC's and use keystroke combos to switch back and forth between them. And you don't need extra cables, buy the kind that has them attached.

You can hook up both of your computers by using a KVM switch.

You don't need anything fancy and will find that these switches are not that expensive. There are some that are made for business and they can be expensive. All you need is a 2 position switch. Don't forget the cables. They are extra for each cpu you want to hook up. You would also get the benefit of using one keyboard and one mouse.

An example: you take your keyboard, monitor, mouse and plug them into this box (KVM switch). You get the extra cables that I was referring to and plug one end into the mouse, keyboard and your monitor slots on your cpu and the other end to the box. You do this with both cpu's.

Now you can switch live between cpus running at the same time and use one keyboard, mouse and Monitor.

Hope this helps, good luck : )

Why don't you take the software for '95 and put it on the other one? You could just go back and forth and switch the monitor to the different cpus that you need I guess...

Yes you can. go to your local Electronics store and tell them what you want to do. There is a switch you can use. You hook the monitor up to it and can use with either computer based on the position of the switch. I used to work in a computer development lab and we did it all the time.

sure, merely get a link cable to connect 2 video reveal instruments and one video reveal will act as a carry close, being linked to the computing gadget. New pcs at present were given 2 video reveal shops, so there ought to be no choose for a link cable.

Yes you just need a switch that will switch your computer back and forth, using only one monitor.

Here is an example of what it looks like on ebay:

Its a little switch that lets you connect your computers to 1 monitor and you can just switch back and forth.
