What is the best way to save money on College books!?

I have to buy books soon, and there are a lot of "recommended" books that are not "required". I like to be fully prepared for classes but I don't want to spend a lot on something I won't need!

Try getting used books, or find someone to share books with for the ones that are recommended by not required.

    Good luck!

Buy them used or find someone who took the course the previous semester and buy from them. You might also be able to check them out from the campus libraries.

ask around and see if anyone still has any of them....also, buy used books...if you and a friend are taking the same class, have her/him buy one and you can buy one and you can share...

get a grant from school, they sometimes pay for all your books. Or shop ebay, or a used book store.
